The Young Business Leader (YBL) Club of the School of Business Studies, Jigyasa University, Dehradun, successfully hosted an Industry Academia Interaction on "Open Source Intelligence and Network Security" on 22nd February 2025. The event featured Lt. Col. (Retd.) Harkamal Sidhu, a distinguished veteran and cyber security expert, who captivated the audience with his deep insights into the evolving landscape of cyber security. He highlighted the significance of open-source intelligence in threat detection and emphasized the critical need for robust network security practices in today’s digital era.

Dr. Vivek Devvrat Singh , Associate Dean SBS and Convenor of the event, thanked Lt. Col. Sidhu for bringing valuable knowledge on safeguarding digital assets, understanding cyber threats, and building a proactive approach to data security. As a symbolic gesture of sustainability and growth, Lt. Col. Sidhu planted a sapling on campus, reinforcing our commitment to a greener and more secure future.
